"Last October my mother began experiencing some health issues that required hospitalization for several weeks followed by restorative care that we hoped would allow her to return home. By December, it was apparent that she would need extended care during rehabilitation and that placement would be required for her to regain her previous level of independence.

As I researched several facilities, I explored location, cost and quality of care as primary indicators of where I wanted to place her. It was at this point that I became aware of Jenni Lynn as a possible and most suitable placement. In early December, I came to visit and discuss options for placement. When I entered, a friendly and welcoming atmosphere met me and I was immediately greeted and directed to your office for information and a tour.

Though I had no formal appointment, you took time to speak with me and provided a tour. As you greeted staff and residents, it was evident that everyone knew you by "Kelli". A number of organized activities were underway; the facility was neat and organized and had a pervasive family atmosphere. It was like home.

Without question, I knew then that I wanted my mother under your care. The combination of your compassion and the strong presence of a caring environment were the selling points.

As eldercare has become a companion to many families, it is refreshing to know that the individual is the priority at Jenni Lynn, Unfortunately, my mom never got to experience life at Jenni Lynn, but I did and would not hesitate to refer it to others."

Whiteknoll High School nursing students visit Jenni-Lynn annually for their rotation of 4 days/weekly for a month

Our residents, staff and volunteers enjoy a wide variety of daily activities from exercise, to weekly outings, arts and crafts, socials (tea/lemonade/coffee/ice cream), sing-a-longs, gardening, and the list goes on and on. Quarterly family gathering and interactions between seniors, kids, plants, and animals are promoted and scheduled daily. We believe our residents know what they like and their individual, specific hobbies and interests are incorporated into our activity program as well. Resident council meetings are held quarterly to obtain feedback on our services.
